Bonjour~
I'm alu.
I like to experiment with a lot of different mediums including graphite, digital, painting, photography, and writing/poetry.
Currently obsessed with Visual Kei and as always, Dante Alighieri. The man was a genius, what can I say. Someday, I'll do illustrations for the Divine Comedy. I totally will.
What I want advice on:
~ background
~ coloring techniques
~ patience...
Gah! I only took one semester of Japanese!
Auto-translate tells me you have fun leaving comments in Japanese so you can laugh at me when it makes my head explode!
Heh heh. Auto translate gave you the gist of it.
I haven't had any formal training and my Asian mom doesn't speak it, so I've had to learn it on my own. Bleh!
I'll pretty much play anything, really, aside from things like Halo and COD.
RPGs are the best. I especially like the Castlevania and Devil May Cry games. Someone should make a good party-based gothic RPG, though. :(
Man I suck at 3D shooters. :/ I hate it, but I'll play them when I'm with my brother or my friends who like it.
I've only played one Castlevania and I utterly failed. Beyond all redemption. Failed. But the Devil May Cry games are really inspiring. I have to admit, I could understand Dante fan girls. He's pretty great. It would be sweet to see an RPG like that, but the only companies that really make party-based games probably wouldn't make any gothic-style ones, unfortunately. There are some pretty good party-based games out there though. My favorite is that way and it's produced by Bioware (the same people who made Dragon Age).
In one of the Castlevania games I have there's a sidequest where you go around sitting in all the chairs you can find and eventually end up with a magical room full of weird chairs, including a sit-n-spin teacup! Ahh, you're right about the companies, but I can still dream! As far as party-based games, I admit I'm a Final Fantasy fan, except for FFX-2. That was some awful crap. I also love a really old game called The Legend of Dragoon!
What!? That sound so cool! I want to play that one!
Oh I agree! I dream all the time about my favorite company coming up with more games that have the same interface as my favorite game. It'll never happen unless it's in my dreams! *sob* Hah. I did like Final Fantasy, and I agree that FFX-2 was pretty bad. I only liked the graphics, and even then, it was decent at best. As my brother says, it's basically Final Fantasy for girls (or otaku guys). I LOVE THAT GAME!!!!! (Legend of Dragoon)
I could rant and rave about how much I disliked FFX-2, but then I would seem like a hypocrite because I occasionally still pull it out and play since I learned their was an alternate ending!
YES!! It's so nostalgic~~ Even if the script is a bit corny. And some of my favorite characters die. :(
WHOA!!! I had no idea it had an alternate ending! Oh man, the script was really REALLY corny in some places, but over all, it was decent. I don't remember too much about it, but I remember that the graphics were pretty incredible for the time. It was depressing thinking back on the characters who died... I don't really like games that do that, usually... *cough* Dragon Age Awakenings *cough*.
The ending was part of the reason I hated it. Then I saw a magical clip on Youtube about a secret ending -- I stopped it before it got too far so it didn't spoil it, then googled cheats and found this " http://www.cheatscodesguides.com/playstation-2-cheats/final-fantasy-x-2/ " I haven't finished it yet because I don't have the patience for it...
I haven't played Dragon Age. I haven't really played a lot of newer games... The newest game I think I've played is Odin Sphere.
